Attleborough Street Outreach
Street performances from Christ Community Church in Queens Square, with invitations to an Alpha Course. Also litter picking and tidying in and around Queens Square.

Community Gardening & Painting (Attleborough)
Newday delegates helped local residents within an elderly care home with their gardening needs. They were also be involved in painting the garden fence.

Community Assistance (Bowthorpe)
Working with local Police, Newday delegates litter-picked and cleaned one of the key cycle tracks/footpaths through the estate, helped local residents with their gardens as well as helping one of the local community centres clean and decorate its premises.

Friendship Club & Gardening
Delegates assisted the elderly residents of Hellesdon with gardening, shed clearing and tidying. They also helped run the friendship club at the Community Centre.

Children's Holiday Club
Delegates helped the holiday club team with setting up, and clearing away, craft, games and activities with the children as well as serving refreshments.

The 'Big Spring Clean' (Mile Cross & Catton)
Newday delegates provided assistance to the community by clearing gardens and painting garden fences as requested by community liaison committees and Norwich City Council. This project focused on the areas of Bullard Road, Palmer Road, George Pope Road, Jewson Road and Brickfield Close, in Catton. See the homepage for photos.

Community Survey
Newday Delegates helped undertake a community survey about local facilities, through guided door to door contact, as a means to discover how the church can best serve the local community. They also helped promote the car wash and cafe later in the week.

Youth Theatre
Newday delegates took part in a two-day drama workshop for young people on a local estate (Mile Cross), culminating in a performance. The workshop encouraged young people to build relationships. The workshop took place at the local council community centre.

Mile Cross Street Survey
Newday delegates helped the church complete a survey of local residents about the potential for a drop-in community centre in Mile Cross. Residents were asked their opinions on what they feel such a resource could provide (e.g. drop-in centre, mother & toddler group, debt advice, coffee bar etc.). The local council are also interested in the results of the survey.

Frantik Kids' Holiday Club
Newday delegates assisted the Frantik Kids' Club in running a holiday club for 5-11 year olds. This took place at the Norman Centre, in Mile Cross.

Community Gardening (Thetford)
Newday Delegates assisted with community projects on an estate in Thetford, involving the radical overhaul of three gardens belonging to elderly people on the estate.

Poringland Community Outreach
Newday delegates got the opportunity to be involved in a number of projects ranging from restoring the local pavillion, helping local residents with gardening to car washing and carrying out a community survey.

Family Fun Afternoon
The delegates helped run a 'Family Fun Afternoon' with lots of games, activities and fun.

Wymondham Mad Days
Delegates helped run the 'Family Mad Day' inviting the whole of the community in and surrounding Wymondham to be involved. It was a carnival type event with bouncy castle, barbecue, stalls, and a kids' club with puppets and songs.
